Firestone

Firestone was founded in 1900 in Akron, Ohio. Headquarters is located in Japan. The Firestone Tire & Rubber Company was started by Harvey Firestone in 1900 and grew into one of the world's leading tire producers. Firestone builds all types of tires. Firestone was purchased by Bridgestone in 1988 and combined are now the world's largest tire company. Once combined, the Akron office was closed and the Bridgestone/Firestone new U.S. headquarters is located in Nashville, TN
